F4J make formal complaint about Police misconduct over attempt to charge F4J Campaign Director.

Police accused of supporting false allegations by a ‘contact denier’ against F4J Campaign Director. F4J claim it is a cynical attempt by the authorities to close Contact Deniers web site by threatening key personnel.

CASE DETAILS

• F4J make formal complaint to the Metropolitan Police today about misconduct.
• Police attempted to detain and question F4J Campaign Director Nadine O’Connor at 8.30am on 11th September 2013 at her home as she was about to take her son to school.
• Nadine O’Connor accused of ‘harassment’ by contact denier Sophie Sear, a Deputy Head Teacher at Cudham Primary School, Biggin Hill who was named on the F4J www.contactdeniers.com web site.
• Teacher accused of denying a father contact with his children in breach of a court order and separating a young boy from his brothers.
• Police refusing to disclose evidence of harassment to F4J legal team since 11th September.
• F4J say allegations are ‘entirely false and malicious’ and say Police refusal to disclose evidence constitutes misconduct.

WHAT THIS MEANS

This is a back door attempt to close down www.contactdeniers.com by threatening to charge and imprison key figures in Fathers4Justice. Since its launch earlier this year there have been many unsuccessful attempts to close this site down. The naming and shaming of contact deniers is an essential part of the work we do as a campaign group and does not constitute a ‘course of conduct’ under the harassment legislation.

The fact that Bromley Police are refusing to disclose the evidence against Nadine O’Connor speaks volumes. Help us in the fight to keep www.contactdeniers.com online and exposing those parents who abuse their children by denying them their human rights to a father.
