Dads ‘run for justice’ in Bristol Half Marathon
Dad, Dean Brooker, and his father Martin, have taken part in the Bristol Half Marathon in aid of Fathers4Justice.
The dynamic duo, who are planning another run in superhero fancy dress, say they wanted to raise awareness about the plight of separated dads and their children.
Said Dean, ‘Fathers4Justice helped me through such a difficult time and I decided to give something back with the help of my own father.’
‘I felt alone until I realised there were other dads in the same position or worse at Fathers4Justice. Seeing the work they are doing helped me keep my head straight.’
‘They have shown me support and guidance and speak from a position of knowledge and experience as dads who have been through the system and won.’
‘I will continue to support the campaign to try and ensure other fathers don’t have to go through the legal system all alone.’
