Letter calling on the CEO of Mothercare to immediately withdraw Myleene Klass’s children’s brand
Please use the template below to complaint to Mark Newton-Jones, Chief Executive Officer, Mothercare PLC.
Dear Mark,
I am calling on Mothercare PLC to withdraw Myleene Klass’s “My K” children’s brand, pending your investigation of allegations she has denied her two daughters access to their father for over three years, and that she may have alienated them from him and their paternal family.
I understand Fathers4Justice have written to you regarding this and have offered to share their evidence with you to assist your investigation.
If these allegations are true, not only would this be a serious breach of the children’s human rights, but contact denial and parental alienation can cause profound emotional harm and damage to children.
I believe it would be wholly inappropriate for a responsible company like Mothercare to endorse Myleene Klass and stock her brand if the allegations are true, not least because of the damaging example she would set as role model to millions of mothers, many of whom shop at Mothercare.
I trust you will thoroughly investigate these allegations and I look forward to receiving your response at the earliest opportunity.
Yours
