Statement: Danny Cole
We have been made aware of a number of false and malicious allegations about F4J made by Danny Cole on his Twitter account @ChildNeedFather.
For the record, Mr Cole never joined or registered with F4J for advice.
He was given pro-bono, goodwill advice, on an ad hoc basis over a short period of time about his case at a time when he already had limited, indirect contact with his six-year-old daughter.
Contrary to his allegations, he declined advice from F4J – both before AND after a recent hearing – where new and serious allegations where made against him.
As an organisation run by volunteers, we are deeply saddened that Mr Cole has made these false, malicious and hurtful allegations.
F4J has not only helped thousands of dads over these last 15 years, but also practices a zero tolerance policy on abuse, threats and false allegations. As a result Mr Cole was blocked from our accounts.
We hope he seeks the appropriate help and care with his issues moving forward.
