F4J ask Social Services to Investigate Prime Minister After Daughter Left In Pub

Fathers4Justice has this morning formally written to both Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Social Services asking for them to conduct a full welfare check on Nancy Cameron and to investigate how David Cameron came to leave his daughter in a Buckinghamshire pub.

The group say that whilst this may have been a simple mistake, the welfare of the child is paramount and that the Prime Minister and his security entourage were better placed than most parents to ensure the safety and well being of their children.

Campaign Director Nadine O’Connor says the group have asked for the following:

A full welfare check to assess what actually happened and to ensure there is no repeat of the incident. This would be in line with standard social services procedure after such an event.

To assess whether the parents were inebriated after admitting to drinking several glasses of wine.

To assess whether there are any grounds for prosecution under Child Neglect and Abandonment laws.

Said Nadine, “It is standard procedure for fathers to be investigated after such incidents. The Prime Minister has admitted to drinking and his parenting skills may well have been impaired as a result.”

“It’s almost 12 months to the day when David Cameron’s Father’s Day message was an attack on ‘feckless fathers’ in which he said they should be treated linke drink drivers. We think he should be treated in the same way as any other father would be if they were placed in his position.”

“It doesn’t give us much confidence that the Prime Minister can’t count to three. Perhaps he would like to avail himself of some vouchers for parenting classes on Father’s Day.”
